Private Estate | Pasadena Wedding
James and Vanessa were truly an amazing couple to work with. Vanessa’s love and passion for James is so apparent, and James is such a caring soul. Vanessa and her ladies got ready in a suite at The Langham Hotel in Pasadena, along with her mother and flower girl. After getting ready, they set off for the ceremony at Holy Family Church, a grand and airy Catholic cathedral. I love how you can see the emotion and love in Vanessa’s eyes during the ceremony. She really found her prince charming! Around her bouquet she had a pendant with a portrait of her grandma so she would be with her on her big day.
After the ceremony, we went over to The Old Mill for pictures! An old world setting made for some romantic and intimate photos. We had a lot of fun incorporating Vanessa’s veil into some creative portraits with James. The reception was held at a family friend’s lovely estate in Pasadena and it was the perfect spot for a fun party! Twinkling lights hung overhead as the guests and the couple hit the dance floor.
At the end of the night, their guests lined up and gave a huge sparkler send off for the happy couple. My favorite part about their wedding was all the personal touches they incorporated, from Vanessa’s childhood priest officiating the wedding, to the Irish band that played during their cocktail hour. It was a party for the ages!
